More snow!

Maon, shetland ram being sheared.
"Runaway Bride" losing 2 yrs. of fleece
Jacobs ewe with her lamb, he's worried.

What a week! We only had school on Tuesday and Thursday this week. Monday was a snow day, Wednesday a water main broke, and today is another snow day. I went out at 6:30 this morning and was greeted by 30 mph winds and another six inches of snow. Thankfully there are no new lambs to worry about. We just have four very pregnant mommas. Mommas that are worrying us and making Nate and I become amateur vets. We've treated one with three oral, and injections, what's next?
Kohen and Isaiah are happy that I am home so much this week. I think Nate is too! If I get the camera charged I'll post some snow pictures.
In the meantime I'll post some pictures from sheep shearing on last Saturday, when we could actually see the ground! It was an interesting process to watch. The shearer was very efficient, averaging five minutes per sheep. Some of the poor sheep had not been sheared for two years, so they desperately needed it. Though now they are probably wishing for some of that fleece back!

Tif,
COOL! Your dad just shared your blog site with me. Thanks for starting this. Great picture of Kohen with Anafleece.
Just in for a quick lunch and then out the door to mow some more (3rd time this year). What a difference between here and there. I know you've enjoyed the days home. Do you have to make them up?
Take care and I'll check this often.
Love, Bobbie and Mike

Been thinking about you and your flock. Glad to hear they are handling the weather and doing well.
