4-leggeds & winged

The animal introductions for tonight will focus on two "old men" of the Briggs bunch. Nacho has been with us for almost two years now. He is one of three male kittens that Bobbie brought to us from Texas. Unfortunately he has outlived all his outdoor cat counterparts. Tex and Jalepeno went MIA last summer, and Butchy, Kohen's favorite maine coon cat has been missing for the last two months. Nacho does not stray far from the garage, porch, and yard. He has spent the last week trying to figure out what AnnaFleece is, and is becoming alarmed now that she is bigger than him. Whatever animal (fox, coyote) got Butchy also bit Nacho, but he's come through it well and once again there are four paw prints in his running pattern.

Here's Turk. He was purchased for thanksgiving dinner...last year. Grandma, Koe and I picked him up at the Embarrass Animal Swap with the premise of fattening him for Thanksgiving. To help reduce the enticement to make him a pet we even named him Thanksgiving, then Christmas, and Easter...Lucky for him he developed a good personality and endeared himself to Nate. You can earn yourself a gobble by hollering, "hey turk" or just opening the mudroom door in the morning! Turk will hang out with the chickens, but spends a portion of each morning on the deck, strutting his stuff. He likes to admire himself in the full view glass door. So be warned, look down when you walk on our deck!
