So Isaiah and I went on a road trip today. Our destination was Boston Lake Farm. It is about a 2 1/2 hour drive, on roads with little or no traffic. We arrived at 10 and were greeted by Sabrina. I was excited to see all her sheep, but especially Bam and Ris, who came home with me. The plan is for Bam to be our flock ram, and Ris, his wether companion. They both traveled well coming home, and were quickly greeted by answering maaas from the field when we pulled in. I put them in the pen we had ready for them, and they quickly got to work chewing branches and grass. Bam is a big, beautiful boy, who will hopefully give us some nice butcher lambs. Ris has beautiful fleece, and will give me some beautiful fiber if I ever get a chance to learn how to spin.
Not a bad day, we got home at 2:30, Isaiah was an angel in the truck, and is now acting as if he hasn't ever seen his toys before!

Hi Tifany,
Bam and Ris must be having a hay day with all of that lush pasture to themselves. I hope they do well for you.
I am going to try to link to your blog today and post one more fairwell to Bam. Can't believe it has taken me so long to get that done.
I noticed in your latest blog you were feeling a bit down. I sure hope you feel better soon.
