Mine, it's in the driveway. It won't see the garage for quite some time. Thirteen sheep now reside where my car is normally parked. It wasn't pretty. It wasn't easy. But it had to be done. We have been blessed with 14 inches of snow over the last two days. Of course this evening was no different. My mom and dad came for dinner and then mom stayed in to watch the boys while dad, Nate and I headed for adventure. It's always an adventure moving our little flock, and it was no exception tonight. While the snow came down heavily, I headed to the garage with a bucket of grain. All was well with my train of ewes, until we hit the garage. No go folks. The flock scattered in three directions. We ended up getting the tame ones (Anna, Fiona, Kizzy, and Ella) in on the first attempt. Then the fun began. We directed the rest of the ewes back into the small catch pen where we are storing the large round bale of 2nd crop. Dad and I made the decision to catch Shrek first since she is our biggest trouble maker. It wasn't an easy task, but we took it gentle to not disrupt her swollen pregnant body. Though we did loop a lead rope around her chest as a safety in case she slipped away (been there, done that!) With a sigh of relief and sore fingers from grasping fleece, she was locked in the garage pen. We then progressed to the rest, using varying methods from dragging, coaxing, leading, carrying, and the best yet- sled. Yes, Kohen's rainbow color sled was put into commission as a sheep mover. Scar is over 110 pounds at this point and not willing to venture up the hill through the snow. Dad and Nate tipped her carefully into the sled, and started to pull/push. My mom and the boys were observing from the house. I was able to hear my mom's hysterical laughter from 75 feet away- through the window! It was priceless. Unfortunately, I have no pictures, I was too busy catching the next victim!
Nate decided he could have built half a barn in the time it took us, but everyone is now safely located in the garage bedded down in straw, with fresh water, mineral and hay. It will be a much shorter and easier trek to check them in the night. The hope is that they will be well dried and comfy in anticipation of shearing Friday afternoon. Of course, a lamb or too by then wouldn't be too bad either. Maybe it would ease some of my nerves.
I'm ending with a picture of my mom and the boys triking less than two weeks ago to remind me that, yes Tifany, snow does melt.

I would be a nervous wreck shearing that close to lambing! I hope it all goes well for you.
I am! Sabrina said she did it last year with no ill results. My saving grace is having the same shearer as last year and knowing how gently he handles the sheep.
