Pam and Bam have a ram

Sorry for the cheesy title, I had to use it. Pamela had a nice ram lamb this morning between 4:30 and 7. White with light brown ears, legs, and tail. We had to do some shuffling to jug them. We have three jugs set up, but one contains the month old chicks, and the other is covered with my unskirted fleeces, today's project. Yesterday Nate and I (mostly Nate) mucked our the garage/sheep pen. After a fresh coat of lime and staw, we turned Shrek and Cocoa in with everyone else. Good Mama became a problem. She would not leave Shrek alone, trying to "take" Cocoa. Nate and I intervened a few times and then gave up and moved her as the headbutting continued. She was not happy about being alone in the lambing jug. Of course this morning she didn't want to leave. Uninterupted slumber, her own supply of hay, she thought it was pretty good. It looks like she and Fiona are next to lamb, my guess is the next 48 hours.
Pictures will follow later today, stay tuned!

Current lamb count: 2 ewes, 3 rams, 1 deceased ewe.
