It has been 148 days since we put the ram in with the ewes. No babies yet! Nate or I are bothering the poor girls every 2-3 hours. Nothing. It's most frustrating when I'm up at 2:30 am, get dressed and trek out to the garage, just hoping for something going on. Nothing again. Kizzy and Jacobs are both bagged up and their bellies have dropped. I'm so thankful that we were able to shear Friday so that I have a better idea of what is going on and the condition of everyone.
The sun is finally shining today. Unfortunately there is a strong wind from the east. Happily, our weather is only supposed to get warmer the coming week.
