Spring Weekend

I think we need to start a movement. When spring finally arrives, the weekend should stretch to three days. There is so much to do and not enough time. Gramma Jan arrived from Rochester late Friday night, so Kohen has been very excited all weekend. I spent yesterday trying to catch up on laundry and get clothes put away. Today we picked up Grandma Butchy and headed to the Embarrass Animal Swap to try and sell some fleece and a german shepherd. Alas, we came home with no sales, but no purchase either. Of course it was sunny until we got home and then it began to rain. In addition, when I just looked out the window about fifteen minutes ago I saw more of that awful white stuff, snow!
In sheep news, Ella is still holding her own. She is out in the field with everyone and just getting a supplemental bottle 2x per day. She is having a tough time with chewing but still eating.
Hopefully there is not any permanent damage. She and her brother are still small enough to sneak through the fence, so they are getting some better grass than the others. We moved Charlok and Scar, the last two ewes to lamb into the field pen today. We were tired of listening to them maaaa to the rest of the sheep and not seeing any progress on the lambing front, maybe they'll finally get down to business now. Urho is still skinny, but he's back in the field now too. He's holding his own. If I remember where I left the camera I'll upload some more pictures.
