Fun in the Sun

My beautiful baby boy, not interested in a picture with mom, more concerned over losing his hat.
The ducklings, current population: 8.

Fan hair. When it was really warm yesterday, I parked the boys on a rug and instructed them to stay there, and then set the fan up five feet away. They loved it.

Isaiah enjoying the park today.

Kohen my little fish enjoying Vermilion. I actually thought the water felt warm for our big lake!

You know it has been too long since your last post when you can't even come up with a catchy title, the result of having about eight things to post about. However, I am being told by my husband that I need to get to bed early in anticipation of tomorrow. Tomorrow is the $1,000,000 Lions club garage sale, held in the gym of our local school. It is an awesome event, and one that Nate waits all year for. Last year he was in line by 6:30 am, the doors did not open until 9! Think lines of people blocks long eagerly anticipating pouring through the doors to check out LOTS of stuff. From dishes, to underground fencing, to tillers, pick axes, gas powered air compressors, even cultured stone and those are just a few of the things WE have gotten over the years!
We are just enjoying summer. Nate has been working a lot, but finished roofing yesterday, so the weather was quite a bit cooler today (It always gets hot no matter when he has a big roofing job, maybe he should line them up for February!) Today was a fun filled day that included a picnic at Grandma Butchy's, swimming at the lake, playing at the park, visiting friends, and moving sheep.

We've moved the sheep into the large pasture with the donkeys. There is a lot of grass and clover to satisfy them. We weighed sheep last night, some of our lambs are over 40 pounds already. They are looking good. The garden and weeds are growing just as fast. I'm getting anxious for some good vegetables. Grandma gifted us with lettuce, onions, and radishes from her garden. They tasted so good!

Ok, off to bed. More later. I promise. Maybe I'll even post about the loot we get at the fabulous garage sale. I haven't thought of a darn thing we need, but I guarantee we won't walk out the doors empty handed.
