- Window Screens: Man the mosquitoes have started! As I was filling sheep water outside tonight I killed eighteen mosquitoes on my hand, 18! In the span of about eight minutes. I think I also knocked eight minutes off of my sanity fighting them off.
- Summer nights: I LOVE the smell of summer nights that is drifting through my windows as I type, especially when it's been 70+ during the day. The crispness of it is so refreshing to me.
- Track and Field Days:Yes! no students, wearing a groovy t-shirt and jeans and tenners, along with seeing the sweaty, tired bodies trudging up all those stairs at our elementary school
- Three-year old vocabulary: Mom, cheese is a bet-a-ble (vegetable :) )
- Toddler Church: I was actually able to enjoy the sermon today. Kohen headed down to "preschool" church (he has an issue with the toddler name now that he is in preschool) all by himself, he is maturing!
- Watermelon: A wonderful treat for a three year old, "I want watermelon for lunch, not chicken, just watermelon." It also buys mom ten minutes of time not worrying what Kohen is doing outside. Plus the rinds make a great treat for the ducks and chickens too.
- Grandparents: For being willing to take grandsons and granddogs when needed, giving their mom a break and Isaiah some extra mom time.
- Fleecy Heartattacks: Even though they drive us crazy (did I mention I had four sheep running loose for part of the afternoon?) Anna spent last night in the field, why do I feel like I sent my baby to college? She is still getting three bottles a day. Charlok and Scar both show some bagging, maybe they will still surprise us with some lambies.
- Good clients: Nate's clients who care about the maintenance of their properties and keep him busy and earning.
- Family: Those close, and not so close. You're never far from our thoughts. We're thinking and praying for you uncle Lester.
- Friends: And the anticipation of entertaining them more in the summer time. We can't wait for visits! (Yes Amber, that means you and your fam!)
- My husband: He makes me appreciate life so much, and gives me reasons to laugh and grit my teeth at times.
Have a good Monday, focus on your bright spots. If the job is rough, read the story at this link: http://www.forwardedfunnies.com/i_love_my_job_000965.html
I have it in a handy place and have shared it with some of my coworkers having a rough day, just recite to yourself: I love my job, I love my job, I love my job!
