New Fence, Old Balloon

Sorry for the post without pictures, our satelite internet connection is too poor tonight. I'll try to add them tomorrow, along with a post about the new ewes!
Yesterday in between rain showers, we began working on the new fence line for the pasture. We have hayed half of this area the last two years, but decided the land would be put to better use if we just let the animals graze it. Of course poor Nate ended up doing all the work while the boys and I tagged along and annoyed him. I try to help, I reallly do, I'm just not real good at eyeing up the posts. Or strong enough to lift the t-post driver, or haul wooden posts quickly. I did do a fine job of delivering ice water, and driving the lawn tractor that contained my children.

As the boys and I headed out the door to help Nate, Kohen found a balloon in the stroller basket that he had gotten in Rochester a few weeks ago. Well, of course he insisted that it be blown up, and he began playing with it in the field. It had a short lived life, quickly popping on the grass. This led to 1/2 an hour of sniffles, wails, and tears, until he was distracted by throwing sticks in the river 'for the beaver'. Whatever it takes right?

Unfortunately, we weren't able to finish the fence before it began to pour. All of the t-posts are in along with one section of wood fence for the gate. Nate has to still finish the corner H bracing and string the fence. However, Isaiah was able to enjoy some ground time with his puppy. I figured maybe he would want to walk more to avoid the grass hitting him in the face...didn't work.
